Due to ongoing pathway construction in the East
Village and at the Weir, the race will follow the same route as in
2008.
The race begins at 10am under the Olympic arch in
front of the Eau Claire YMCA (101 - 3 St. SW) and follows city pathways
for the entire 21.1km. There will be a 9:30 start for people
planning on being longer than 2 1/2 hours. The city of Calgary clears snow from most,
but not all, of the pathways along the route. However, at this time
of year there can still be icy patches where the snow has been
cleared.
